Beacon for the Weekend (Mini-Moon)

It’s hard to take a honeymoon during a global pandemic! But two weeks after we got married, we felt like we had to a have a bit of a getaway. Erica had some hotel points racked up, and we wanted somewhere in reasonable driving distance. Enter Beacon, New York.

We actually stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Fishkill, NY, and took day trips to Cold Spring, Beacon, and Newburgh. Most indoor activities were closed down, but between the Stonecrop Botanical Gardens and the Storm King sculpture gardens, we made the most of our situation, and had so much fun doing it!
